Plans
Nothing is billed, and nothing can be: the hosted platform is not open yet, so there is no payment method to add and no plan to choose. This page is the shape of what plans will be, published early so it is not a surprise later.

Prices are not set. When they are, they will appear here before anything is charged, and anyone already using the platform will be told what changes for them and given time to decide.
Three things that stay free, on every plan
- Public instructions are never metered
- Publish as many as you like, at any size, on any plan. A specification with a registry that charges for the public half is not much of an open specification.
- Agent reads are never charged
- An instruction is read by software, often on a loop. Pricing that grows with how often your agents check for updates would be pricing that discourages checking. Reads are free, including hot reloads and subscriptions.
- Reading something shared with you costs nothing
- If someone gives you access, you can read it, follow it and verify it on a free account. You pay to publish and to govern, not to receive.
What the plans meter
Four dimensions, deliberately, and no more until real usage says otherwise: private instructions, seats, AI assistance, and how long audit history is kept. Everything else is a capability that a plan either has or does not.
Not built yet
Some of what a plan will include does not exist. Being clear about it now costs less than disappointing someone later.
- Billing itself. No metering, no checkout, no invoices.
- End-to-end encrypted workspaces. Designed, and waiting on an external cryptographic review before a line of it ships. Nothing on this site claims the platform cannot read your content today, because it can.
- Single sign-on and directory provisioning. Enterprise identity is specified and not yet wired.
- Self-hosting under licence. You can already run the whole thing yourself. The licence and support terms for doing it commercially are not settled. How self-hosting works today.
Self-hosting
The registry, the gateway configuration and the deployment charts are in the open. Running your own instance needs no plan and no key from us, and a document published on your instance is the same document as one published here, because the format is specified rather than owned.
